Empowering women traders is integral to the success of the AfCFTA. Access to information about trade opportunities enabled by the AfCFTA, as well as the regulatory requirement to access those opportunities are essential to boost intra-Africa trade. The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), United Parcel Service (UPS) and the Trade Law Centre (tralac) are collaborating to support women traders by providing trade information, training courses and trade management tools to support women-led businesses across the continent. Our aim is contribute to the reduction of time and costs of doing business, enhancing the competitiveness of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises - especially women-led MSMEs - trading under the AfCFTA
